Highlands

The "highlands" of Cameroon, or Western trays, are a mountainous region west of the country, characterized by high relief, fresh temperatures, strong precipitation and savannah vegetation. The highlands extend approximately from the southwest to the northeast, including mountain ranges like the Rumpi Hills, the Bakossi Mountains and the volcanoes like Mont Kupe and Mont Manengouba.
